[history]
The federal investigation into the bioterrorism attack on America led to North Olden Avenue in Trenton yesterday, where authorities raided an apartment and detained a Pakistani man before testing the residence for anthrax.
Authorities also took swabs of a curbside mail drop box almost directly in front of the building, which they searched for about five hours. They confiscated several garbage bags of evidence.

"The current evidence puts us at mail boxes in Trenton, where the three critical letters were mailed," [Mueller] said. "And it expands beyond there, and some of the leads may well take us overseas.
Our home-grown-right-wing-extremist-anthrax-cookers must have tentacles abroad!

Whoops, that source is supposed to be the Trenton Times, not Trrnyon. Little creative spelling there.

"...Our home-grown-right-wing-extremist-anthrax-cookers must have tentacles abroad!..." LOL!
When these third world 'American right wing extremists' go to KKK and Aryan Nation meetings do they have to sit in segregated seating areas, or do they get a special name tag that makes them 'Honorary White Men' for the evening?

It can't be Aryan Nation kooks -- must be those right wing wiccans. They're more tolerant of diversity.

Efren Jimenez, owner of Tico Verde at 1001 N. Olden Ave. and landlord of the six-unit apartment building, said an FBI agent watched the mailbox near the apartment for the previous two days, giving no indication of the raid to come(LOL, is the FBI that obvious in their stake-outs?)
aristeides, you were asking last night if anyone knew the location. My speculation was wrong -- it's North Olden Ave. instead of Greenwood Village on Norman Road.

No. Olden Ave. is rather long. Anybody know where on it this house is?
To: gumbo
Thanks, 1001 No. Olden Ave., hadn't noticed that in the article. 1001 No. Olden Ave. is
here.

I guess this proves it was right wing vegetarian faction of the lesbian Jews for Jesus cult that helped the Supreme Court hand the presidential election of 2000 to President Bush. </sarcasm>

Nothing conclusive here except that law enforcement are on the job. It will be no satisaction to me if they discover these anthrax warriors are home-grown. I just want them found and stopped. I suppose the only reason some think it might be an Aryan/ Militia type is because they have made hundreds of threats over the past few years and are known to be evil and crazy enough to do it.In some ways it would be a relief though - it might be harder to comprehend but easier to deal with if they are Americans on a rampage. But -...as I said before - the people responsible are very sick and very evil and whatever their politics I know they are not mine. Bio-terror is NOT a conservative value!

ping...does the C last name sound familiar from 10/22 post..
To: rolling_stone; gumbo; HAL9000
Guy with the same "C" name lived at the apartment house in West Trenton. Do the first names match?
To: aristeides
Aha. So 1001 N. Olden is right next to Route 1. Easy access to, oh, say, the Islamic Society on Route 1 and Stouts Lane, Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852!

I guess the publishers of Chris Matthews' new book should retouch the cover photograph to show some egg on his face.

does the C last name sound familiar from 10/22 postMight be the same, but I think that name in Pakistan is like 'Smith' or 'Jones' here.

Well, no place in Trenton is very far from Rte. 1. The MapQuest map doesn't show where the nearest entry ramp is to Rte. 1, but I imagine there would have to be one near the Helene Fuld Medical Center (which you will observe on the map.)
By the way, I wonder where the Trenton office is of that plastic surgeon who is chairman of the board of the Islamic Society of Central Jersey.
To: OldFriend
Speaking of Princeton, anthrax testing lab may be coming to
Hopewell.
To: aristeides
The Rt.1 south ramp is literally around the corner (NY Ave,) To go north, you can go to Mulberry or just take the Alt. Rt. 1 at the circle.
To: bubbafree
Thanks. To get to Monmouth Junction, you would be going north, of course.
Just so people can understand the map, Alt. Rte. 1 is Brunswick Ave., is it not?
To: aristeides
