OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (AP) A woman and her two daughters were found dead in their home Friday and authorities said the deaths were being investigated as homicides. Investigators said they have no suspects or motive.

"There were no apparent outward signs no bullet wounds, no obvious signs of death," said Lt. James Sears of the Jackson County Sheriff's Department. "We're waiting for an autopsy."

Minh Hieu Thi Huynh, 45, Thuy Hang Huynh Nguyen, 15, and Thanh Truc Huynh Nguyen, 11, were discovered dead at 1:40 a.m. at the family's home on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, officials said.

Sheriff Mike Byrd said authorities were notified by neighbors after Huyhn's husband came to their door and asked to use their telephone.

"They didn't know who it was, so they didn't open the door and called us," he said.

The FBI is also investigating.

Didn't I read a Clive Cussler book about the Gramercy Port and Chinese slave smuggling? Or do I have a couple of his books melded together?

Same last name as the anthrax victim in New York City. Nguyen. Maybe somebody has a grudge against that last name.

As I remember, Nguyen is about as common as Smith for the Viatnamese. But my memory could be faulty.

We have Smith and Jones. They have Nguyen.

Nguyen is the Vietnamese equivalent of Smith. In fact, for Vietnamese, Nguyen is probably a more common last name than is Smith for Americans.

Be like having a grudge against "Smith" "Jones, or (in San Antonio) Rodriguez. The single most common Vietnamese family name.

If I'm not mistaken, the Vietnamese equivalent of Smith.

To: All. Exactly. Maybe the killer hated Vietnamese and there's no mistaking Nguyen as a Vietnamese name, A "grudge" against Vietnamese in general.

Are there any autopsy results yet? There were no outward signs. Did they try to use an outdoor grill inside to make heat? If they did, they would have died of carbon monoxide poisoning. Happened in Fla. to Vietnamese immigrants.

You all are way ahead of me tonight. Just pointing out that the victim in NY was that name and so were they. She's dead and so are they. I don't want to be in a hair splitting contest over last names. I am going to e-bay to look around. Have a great weekend.
