I'm getting tired of being "on alert." :-) I think I'm going to kick it down a couple of notches to "watchful."

I think this is going to be a long, long haul. Since I made a vow to myself that I would wear something to demonstrate my patriotism EVERY DAY until this is over, This afternoon I purchased a crystal "I LOVE (heart) THE USA" pin and a red, white, and blue Sawarski crystal "Christmas Tree" pin to alternate with my 4 flag pins. I'm looking for a terrific eagle to further enhance my attire. I'm still alert and feeding the economy! LOL

I wear a little thing I made out of beads. I also hang it from the rear-view mirror. A lot of small hematite cubes threaded together to look like the WTC--tall, black and shiny. At the base of one of them are yellow, orange, and red crystals to symbolize the first, less successful attack. At about the level of each plane strike, more yellow, orange, and red crystals. There are gold beads at the bottom of one of the towers and "diamond" beads as well to show the economic importance of the WTC. I don't know why, but I touch them often every day. I never got to see the WTC in person.
