It was superb, first a Bald Eagle flies the field, then two Strike Eagles do an afterburner fly-by then our CIC in his best stride brings the crowd to a fever pitch. I Love NY!

The eagle is 'Challenger', from Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, where Dolly Parton's Dollywood is located.

Were they Strike Eagles? I thought they were going to be Tomcats were from NAS Oceana. If they were Tomcats, I believe the planes were from the squadron which downed the Libyan MiGs back in Reagan's adminsitration.
