Tax is about 35 cents here, too. The government(s) makes more off a gallon of gas than the oil companies.

$1.379 for unleaded is about as cheap as you can find in the Seattle area (Costco). Chevron, Texaco and the like are up around $1.50 or more. Like other states, taxes are a big part of that.
