It seems to me that Mohammed was a false prophet if for no other reason than that his message was not to teach man to love each other and all God's creatures but to force them to submit to oppressive rules and to destroy other people who refused to bow down...very diabolical. My personal opinion of Islam is that it is a junk religion since it does not seem to encourage people to make an inner journey of faith but rather seems to dote on the carnal. While I am sure that many well educated Muslims have taken it upon themselves to lead good lives and to delve into their own spiritual natures, the religion itself as laid out by Mohammed including the fatwa angle is militaristic and uninspiring. The persecution of non Muslims in Pakistan and other Muslim nations is absolutely medieval--I cry for those women (Muslim and non Muslim) who live at the mercy of these maniacs. Their hatred of female sexuality except when it is controlled and harnessed by their fathers, brothers, and husbands reminds me of the German obsession with the Jews--a lethal mix of neurosis, paranoia, and psychosis.
