Earlier today, I was watching saturday morning cartoons. Specifically "Transformers: Robots In Disguise" on FOX Kids. (What can I say? I've been a Transformers fan since 1984, since I was 6.) During the second commercial break, a commercial aired which began with Ellen Degeneres' mother onscreen. In it, her and several actors talked about parents accepting and understanding their children, whether they're gay or straight. The ad ended with the phrase Choose to understand and the name of the organization that funded the ad, the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, as well as a link to their website.
Now, am I wrong to be shocked by this? Here's why I'm shocked by it, at any rate.
These are saturday morning cartoons, watched mainly by 7 year olds, who have NO CONCEPT AT ALL of sexuality, much less homosexuality. And as a parent, you feel it's alright for your children to watch saturday morning cartoons, as their can't possibly be any bad messages for them to watch. Little would you know, though, that the Human Rights Campaign Foundation would use it to ram their beliefs down your childs throat while you're unaware. To bring sexuality into their innocent world.
Picture this: You're sleeping soundly, as you believe that you're 7 year old child will be doing nothing more than watching saturday morning cartoons. No harm, right? Well, imagine if that child wakes you up and asks you "What does 'straight' and 'gay' mean?" So now you're left with 2 choices: A) Explain these concepts to your child at a time when they're incapable of understanding them. Or B) Not explain them, making your child feel as if you're not being honest with them and holding back the truth. And possibly leading them to inquire elsewhere and find out from people who don't care as much about your childs well-being as you do. (Hey, there's always the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, who were kind enough to put their URL in the add. www.HRC.org.)
In other words, these people are willing to sacrifice a small childs innocence in order to advance their own political agenda. Am I wrong in being angry about this? Because right now I am SEETHING!

Hahahaha! TV as babysitter! Whatever happened to parents' taking responsibility for the influences on their children? Let's blame Ellen for the fact that we're too lazy to pay attention to information sources which mold our children's minds from early youth! It's all big, bad, lesbian Ellen's fault!
No. It's an overwhelming combination of factors. We're not too lazy. In most cases, the modern economy compels both parents to work outside the home, frequently with a lengthy commute. Saturday mornings used to be a time when some of us could catch up on our sleep.
You can bet the people responsible for these commercials are still asleep at that time. Absolutely nothing -- not parental responsibilities, not jobs, not even an existing infection with HIV or other sexually-transmitted diseases -- will ever get in the way of the late-night partying, drinking, drug use and whoring around by most members of the homosexual community.
The televsion network executives, marketing people, and station owners need to be held accountable. (And watch the Libertalibans claim that no one was injured, and how we have to devote every penny and every thought to only fighting terrorists and ignore perversion.)

Read through the links above and Listen to the Fistgate Tape Online - I believe you have every reason to be concerned.
Occasionally, I let my kids out of my sight in the house. For some reason, I think children should not be followed everywhere they go.
If we have to chain our kids to ourselves so they can watch TV, that tells me that TV is a danger to them.
Because ramming their unholy ideas down the throats of little ones isn't the only the thing the degenerates had in mind. There are other orafices and other objects (a quick reference to the homosexual rape/murder of Jesse Dirkhising would be in order) that these folks have targeted.
If you needed proof as to why you should keep your children away from left-wing television, now you have it. Now get your kids away from the government schools before it is too late.
What are your children doing while you're washing dishes? Do you make them stand in the corner facing the wall so nobody can influence them when you're not watching?
