Now, c'mon. Can you name any information you've received which would make you believe there are thousands of Mohammed Attas running around out there? This is just mass hysteria, driven by those who benefit; the government, and the media. I can certainly see how the craziness arose that led to all those Japanese-Americans being interned in 1941.
Yes, I saw it in the news. Now whether they are lying or not, is another issue, but yes, I have seen it. This does not seem like a difficult concept to grasp, I can't imagine why you are having such a hard time about it. This stuff may be happening in Australia sometime, one never knows.
