Time for a little Theology 101? Ever hear of the Incarnation?
Ever think that God was "sending a message" when He took on human flesh and human nature?
Do you recall the words of Jesus Christ, "Ye have heard it said...(quotes OT)...but I say ..."
Do you understand the signifigance of the rending of the veil of the Temple on Great and Holy Friday?
Do you?
So you think that He took on human form because He was wrong in Eden,and in Sodom,and when He drown the Egyptian soldiers,and when he killed the enemies of the Jews? He was acting poorly ,so He decided to completely elimate the part of Him that is justice?
So realizing His Character was flawed he decided to change it? Do you think He ceased to be a God of justice?
That rent curtain gave us the right to approach the throne of God directly,no Saints,no priests,no icons.No more seperation beteen God and man..no more altar rail...is that what you mean?
Nope.
To show us a better way than drowning Egyptians.
A harder way, but a better way. God said that.
