I assume that you see the 1st and 2nd world wars as wrong as we did not love our enemy.....perhaps we should have come over and ministered to the Germans as they gassed the Jews..Perhaps we could have taken food to the Japenese? If we are always to love our enemy that rules out all war ..you can not have a war with someone you are loving.
Perhaps as a man rapes your daughter you could offer to assist..that would be a very loving way to treat that enemy ..
Acts: 13:9Then Saul, (who also [is called] Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him, 13:10And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, [thou] child of the devil, [thou] enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?
13:11And now, behold, the hand of the Lord [is] upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.
13:12Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.
The issue here as in all war this is not a "personal enemy" this is a national enemy and as noted in Acts it is an enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord? We can hope that they will be converted, but untill the war is over, and our Nation is no longer under attack...it is just that WAR....
Don't you ever tire of humiliating yourself?
Now you need to cite chapter and verse to show how Christians are directed to classify personal and national enemies.
