Afghanistan's ruling Taliban on Thursday dismissed as U.S. propaganda a Pentagon statement that they intended to poison food dropped by U.S. aircraft or provided by humanitarian groups to Afghan civilians. Don't think for a second I don't spend hours a day in prayer for our own wonderful American children and soldiers and the families of the victims of the 9/11 attacks. Did you lose someone that day? Because I did. I LIVE in Arlington, less than one mile from the Pentagon. I was scheduled to be on Flight 77, for crying out loud! Don't ever think or say that I don't care about Americans, because it is horribly, horribly untrue. I simply ask God to give me the strength and grace to love, forgive, and pray for those who persecute me. It's only ChristianYes we should pray for those that persecute you ,but what do we pray for? I pray for them to seek peace, to find Christ. I pray that the government do the right thing..and I fear it is not..
I pray for the ground troops that will ,like our guys in Nam,have to face a foreign culture where there are no friends.(Muslims hate us on principle)So even the ones that call us "friend" so they win the war, will soon be our enemy too (because we are infidels)
So I pray with you for them..but mostly for our kids that will not have time to pat themselves on the back for food drops..

I don't have children adopted or otherwise so leave your assumption oh goddess of assumption out about "you adopted the family you wanted." Second assumption is that all states act on adoption the same as yours.
In what has been called a "racist claptrap," the National Association of Black Social Workers (NABSW) has officially and publicly announced their opposition to transracial adoptions; specifically, the adoption of black children by white families. The association claims "preservation of the African-American family" as their motive for their stance.
Example of different regs comes from National Adoption Information Clearinghouse as follows: Agency Fees and Costs The fees charged by agencies and the extent to which they are regulated by State authorities vary from State to State. Regulation is ordinarily determined by administrative rules, regulations, and standards, not by statute. Very few States specify a dollar amount for agency fees or specific services that agencies provide. In most States, the statutes simply authorize agencies to collect "reasonable and customary" fees for the adoption services provided.
The services that agencies typically provide include preparation of the pre-placement and post-placement home studies of the adoptive family; a social and medical history of the birth family; and birth family counseling. Sometimes agencies also will receive payment for birth parent expenses and make appropriate disbursements. In addition, in some States, agencies are allowed to factor a portion of their administrative costs into their placement fees.

Love, food drops and bombs at the Taliban. Fits with my philosophy."A double minded man is unstable in all his ways".Bombs and love huh?
I will be very glad to take tutoring from such an intelligent and famous writer as yourself..
Love and bombs HUH?? Don't make much sense to me.Didn't daddy Bush try something similar? Are we not now cleaning up that mess?

The countries you list are very poor and in as much need as are the kids in Afganistan..so send them your dollars. They have open and grateful leaders..
Mmmmm....it sounds to me like the Afghani kids are the ones who need us the most, precisely BECAUSE of their leaders. If not you and I, then WHO exactly is going to offer the love of Jesus to these beautiful children? Certainly not their leaders. Remember, God loved each one of these Afghanis enough to send His Son as a sacrifice for their sins. Jesus died for them, too....

Perhaps instead of Asia one would do well to check out what States encourage minority and hanidicap adoption...

It is somewhat entertaining, watching this coronation play out before my very eyes.

Perhaps instead of assumption you would do well to check out all facts before imputting your spew. Oh but that would be impossible to ask. I doubt if Jesus would ask why they didn't adopt a black child or handicapped child. But of course I don't know Jesus as you do.
But oops I assume you know Him at all.

You see, Nance, only American children deserve homes. Sure, a mission in Asia is fine, as long as we leave them there. Why didn't I ever think to let my kids rot away in an orphanage so I could be handed a halo by the blowhard St. RN for adopting a black handicapped child. After all, MY kids weren't lucky enough to be born here. Why do they deserve a stable home and a loving family?

Yes hon...it is amazing. And I thought that the age of coronation street was nearly done. Drat on time to go to bed. Congrats on your "adorable" babies. I will assume this about Jesus...that He loves children no matter their country, culture or religion.

Remember, God loved each one of these Afghanis enough to send His Son as a sacrifice for their sins. Jesus died for them, too....Except if you attempt to tell anyone in any Muslim country that they will shoot you..I will ask you .Can you name one Islamic country that will allow christian aid workers to come in with help for their children and with bibles?
These children do not know who is dropping the food..nor do they care. The boys will be taught that we are the "Great Satan"."Death to America" American Muslims applauded the WTC tragedy and they live here.
Mark 6:11 And if any place will not welcome you or listen to you, shake the dust off your feet when you leave, as a testimony against them."
They do not want us,they hate us.We can pray for them..but in the end this is war

LSU...oh dear you mean these children you adopted were from a mission. OH MY...you know like the mission work RN does in Africa...or on the Indian Reservation...that kind of thing. You mean she works with children she truly believes shouldn't be adopted in Africa. Or is it because they are black they have a right to be adopted. Ohhh my...I just can't imagine...I don't know...but does she sing...Jesus loves all the children all the children of the world...or does she sing...Jesus loves all the children...all the white, Christian, black and handicapped children of America?

Oh I see another assumption...AMERICAN MUSLIMS LOVE WHAT WAS DONE AT THE WTC. I guess that includes the ones at work in the WTC on Sept. 11. Yeah...I see what happened...someone died and made you God. All seeing, all knowing, all powerful. Only you know what all Muslims think, only you know who is right to adopt, only you know what is right in regards to Afghan children. Coronation continues.

I'm not a "good" Christian...I'm a human being who aspires to be a person my Lord would want me to be.
I have a feeling you lead a very blessed life. :) May God continue to bless you and yours for your faithful service.
