... I saw heavy LEO helicopter activity over the peak today, someone is looking for something. Going to try to find time to go down there tonight with my night vision goggles and perch in a secluded spot. I'm not really interested in the main trail but if anything else is moving around. Bright moon will work in my favor, there aren't a "whole lot" of places to stash a big backpack, but I'm going to be looking at this from a previously unexpected vantage.
