I see that Lew is singing like a bird to those looking for "Americans" who are willing to blame America for the world's problems. If I'm not mistaken, "Euskaldunon Egunkaria" is a pro-Palestinian, pro-Arab periodical.

We don't have to look very far to see who the enemy really is.

So, now we know he's a "Lewser," and that he spouts "drivel." So, what does he say that isn't true?

If the US government would pull back in its sanctions against Iraq and military occupations in the Muslim world, they would immediately drop whatever sympathies they have for the terrorists' cause.

Don't you get it? If we would just appease the enemy, it would result in, well, "Peace in our time!"

"If I'm not mistaken, "Euskaldunon Egunkaria" is a pro-Palestinian, pro-Arab periodical."

Well, of course they would sympathize with the Palestinians!

Just ask the Spanish what they think of the Basques... I'll almost guarantee the first three letters that they mention are ETA.

For those who don't know, ETA is a terrorist group that has killed many innocent people in Spain.
ETA stands for "Euskadi Ta Askatasuna" which translates to "Basque Homeland and Liberty".
This patriotic-sounding phrase would make you think that ETA are "freedom fighters".

However, according to Terrorism.com, "Between 700 and 800 people have died as a direct result of their operations."

LOSER Rockwell....Churchill once said that appeasement, while not treason, often has the same result.....this idiot is the HERO of the anti-government, anti-Bush, anti-anybody-that-disagrees-with-us-is-a-socialist gaggle. He is a DISGRACE...and the more these types show their colors by running their mouths the BETTER...as their stupitity is exposed, then many who signed up to listen to their drivel, will see the error of their ways.

Much of what Rockwell says in this interview seems quite sensible. Here in "flyover country" we support a resolute response to the 9/11 attack, and value our liberty too. So far, the only relatively effective response to the 9/11 murderers was a private one - - - the adhoc defense offered by the brave passengers of Flight 93. Blasting the Afghan countryside at a cost of billions may give empire worshippers some temporary satisfaction as well as accomodating all those wretched fools who want to die for Allah ("may he give them what they want, soon", with a little help from US!), but the benefit vs cost is questionable if more enemies are created than eliminated, and more centralized state power is accumulated by the enemies of liberty whose vision is global centralized control. It is not clear that the new demands for restrictions on our liberty (National ID cards? more erosion of financial privacy, ineffective airport security tightening, etc) will materially increase safety, so even the alleged tradeoff we are asked to make between liberty and safety is questionable. On the other hand, increased recognition of the importance of restoring and preserving 2nd Amendment rights is encouraging. And, the obvious need for better "first response" capability, i.e., increased local community efforts to beef up volunteer emergency and rescue teams, are all good trends to the extent that they strengthen local self-government. The bio-weapon threat cannot be met through centralized control (as the numerous fiascoes associated with dissemination of anthrax through the US Postal Service, and the utter failure of the trillion dollar 'defense establishment' to stop 9/11 demonstrate). Goodbye anonymous snail mail! Hello e-mail, fax, cell phone, and vastly expanded, secure private express services! See Martin Van Creveld's Rise and Decline of the State, the book Rockwell references, for further details of what to expect as this struggle between the NAFTA-Empire, and its nebulous adversaries, develops.

This: "as an attempt by the world's dominant nuclear power, the last remaining superpower, to assert and reassert its global monopoly on the use of extreme force. "

LEWSER IS A TOAD!

LEWSER IS WORSE THAN ANTHRAX!

I haven't spent very much time on FR, but it's interesting to see that the main form of argumentation seems to be name-calling. Are most of the posters in middle school?

Your #11 is one of the most rational, intelligently presented posts I've seen at FR, before or after Day 9-11. Thanks.

Get used to it. LOL As for 'ole Lewser, he has been ousted again and again as an anti-American jerk. I got tired of proving that OVER and OVER again, so I just post a discriptive picture him.

Most people on FR have learned not to even read his crap and they just ignore the threads with his name on them, altogether.

One consequence of censorship is that it has driven out the good posters but left the imbeciles.

Okay, so what does he say that isn't true?

For him to do that would require that he read it and make a minimum attempt to analyze.

Lew Rockwell shows himself to be a giant dick again, trying to apply the Libertarian principle on the War on Drugs to the War on Terrorism: "We can't stop terrorists from doing bad things, so the only answer is to do nothing. If we do nothing, the rates of terrorism will logically fall!" Riiiiiiiiiiiiight.

Libertarians are as bad social engineers as the Communists.
