If they don't, all three of these governments may very well topple SOON.
Just about anything these three governments do will hasten their demise. Each of them has been propped up by the U.S. for a long long time. The top layers of their governments have lived very well at our expense and repay the favor by expressing some measure of solidarity with the U.S. when it doesn't cost too much to do so.
Now they're stuck. Any measure of sympathy shown to the U.S. inflames their Islamic fundamentalist majorities that much more. Pakistan could start killing the local terrorists but they'd run out of bullets before the terrorists ran out of fodder. Unfortunately for the Pakistani terrorists, after they eradicate all vestiges of Western influence from Islamabad, there's the little matter of the 1 billion Indians who hate them at least as much as the terrorists hate us.
It may be a good time to short your Pakistani stock.
