I recognize the diplomatic necessity to kiss-up to so-called moderate Muslim nations, but just out of curiousity: Has the world at all benefitted from the spread of Islam? I mean, what has Islam actually contributed to the betterment of humanity and civilization? And what can be said about a "religion" that primarily produces hatred and violence in its adherents?
