The real question is why did the republicans go along with it. If this is true and I don't doubt it.

Some Repub Senators and Congressmen were compromised by the fact they were told in advance in late Feb early March 1995 of a ME attack on a Federal Building in the Heartland ( Murrah building was one of the targets)in an official warning document from the director of the House Task Force on Terrorism and Uncoventional Warfare, Yousef Bodansky. The Task Force was chaired by Republican COngressman James Saxton of New Jersey who also was provided hard evidence of the ME connection to OKC by KFORTV. Saxton did nothing constructive enough with the info except cover it up.

My own Repub Senator, James Inhofe was apprised of this by me in January 1999 and his staff was apprised of it in 1996 by the former Pentagon terror advisor Jesse Clear. Inhofe did nothing constructive about it except cover it up! Inhofe sits on the Armed Services and the Intelligence Committes of the Senate.!

Clear also told the Senate Judiciary legal counsel(Kolan Davis who workes for Senator Grassley) and the Senate Intell Legal Counsel (Joan Grimson) of the ME connection to the OKC bombing and the FBI coverup of the connection. I was privy to these briefings.

Prominent Repubs and Democrats in COngress have known about the OKC ME connection for years and have covered it up.

I am not sure what the answer is about the Republicans going along with the Clinton McVeigh theory, except that it was all done so quickly, within days or at least first weeks, that Clinton was on the tv saying that all the speculation about a mid-east connection was completely unfounded, that the bombing appeared to be the work of a "right wing extremist". And you have to admit that McVeigh did fit that description, but that doesn't mean that he wasn't manipulated by the mid-eastern terrorists.
