This question is addressed to anyone and everyone. Wasn't Ashcroft pushing to get McVeigh executed quickly? Wasn't McVeigh's lawyer suggesting there were other people involved, and there were boxes of information that MIGHT show that, and that delaying McVeigh's execution would be a good idea? I seem to recall that Ashcroft said he would do everything in his power to prevent a delay of execution. This doesn't make sense to me. Does anyone remember? Thanks.

It makes sense if the Bush administration had made the decision to not let the Clinton cover-up of the OKC bombing out of the bag. I believe they made that decision and Ashcroft was just doing his job.

Now the question is: Will the 9-11 WTC attack make Bush change his mind? It might. This could be the start of it. But don't count on the major media to follow the small U.S. News and World Report lead. Only Bush can put this on the street. It is up to him.

...McVeigh's lawyer...

as I recall, the government/media story was that McVeigh wanted the execution, and Ashcroft agreed; BUT, We never heard a word from McVeigh's own mouth to that effect, nor on any subject. Everything was through his lawyer. Was McVeigh's lawyer telling the truth?
