I think you are mistaken about this. US is not willing to change its policy with regard to the "moderate" Arab states despite their role as the enablers for the Islamic terrorists. US support for Israel, therefore, needs to be weighed against the need to placate the "moderate" Arab states. To the extent that the current US policy dictates that appeasement of the Saudis, Egyptians, etc is more important than support for Israel then the Israelis need to be told to shut up and take it from the Palestinian terrorists.
