Note From Ted Olson
email

Posted on 10/22/2001 1:17:52 PM PDT by Paul Rodriguez

"I so very much appreciate all the kind thoughts and good wishes expressed by the Free Republic readers.

Barbara was a great fan of Free Republic.

The knowledge of how much Barbara was loved and admired has been my chief consolation in these difficult days.

Sincerely,
Theodore B. Olson"

Barbara was always a joy to watch on her frequent talk show appearances. She will be truly missed by me and many other decent citizens of the USA.

God Bless Her and her very decent husband Ted!

We all love and miss Barbara thanks for the post, I received her book today, she was a tough defender of the truth and set a standard which will be hard to equal.

Thanks for the bump.

Ted Olson is obviously a far stronger man than I.

If I had just lost my wife, there's no way I could appear on TV like he did on Fox just days after 9/11.

This must be so difficult for Mr. Olson and all of the other people who lost a spouse... I've never even had a close girlfriend, I can't imagine what it's like to lose someone you've dedicated your life to.

I hope the survivors remain strong, and are able to find happiness again.

Dear Mr. Olson:

I am deeply saddened by this tragedy and the loss of your wife. My prayers are with you and your family. Please know that your wife's stand for integrity, honesty, and accountability in government has not been forgotten. Her legacy may very well be that Clintonia will be finally, fully, and with substantive evidence be revealed for the infection that it is. She was a great and courageous woman and will be sorely missed.

Thank you Sir. God Bless you, and God Bless America.

Sincerely, Patrick Mallon

For Ted Olson:

Barbara was a Saint, a gift to us all from God.

She would have made an excellent American President.

She had the right character, the right judgment and the right compassion, the right mental toughness, the right stamina, the right disposition, the right morals and values.

But what was her most important trait that counts the most to our Maker? She had great Love for her country and great Love for her fellow human beings.

She gave me great encouragement to carry on when no one would believe what I wrote and posted on the FreeRepublic. She is one of the reasons I am still writing and posting.

She genuinely cared.

Behind a great man is a great woman.

Carry on Ted. You are essential to America and to her families.

We look forward to seeing you both soon.

A brother in Christ.

God Bless You Ted!

I always enjoyed watching Barbara on certain TV talk shows - especially during the Bush-Gore election fiasco in Florida.

Thanks for posting this Paul.
My wife and I continue in our daily prayers for Ted and for all the family and friends of Barbara's.
There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of Barbara several times and she is deeply missed.
There isn't a day that goes by that I feel heavy hearted for Ted and the pain he must be going through.
There isn't a day that goes by that I don't shed a tear at the thought of Barbara on the plane and the strength and courage she must have brought to those around her.
She was a hero to my wife and I and we couldn't wait to see her on TV when she was on a show.
We bought her book this weekend and have read the first three chapters and I think the book is fantastic. We are also going to be buying a copy of the book for everyone on our Christmas list.
Barbara will never be forgotten in our house and our prayers will never cease for strength and comfort for Ted.

You are quite right! It was a mistaken verb tense. Please forgive. Barbara Olson IS STILL inspiring, leading, demanding truth, confronting Hillary's evil through her books and her example.

Thanks for making that clear.

The best thing we could all do is purchase Barbara's latest book "The Final Days" and encourage others to do so. It would be a great tribute to a great lady.
