One of the mysteries of modern marketing is how anyone ever convinced the public that MS Office was so good, when in reality, is stinks to high heaven.

Obviously an MS weenie.  Just as an example, going from MS Word 5.x to 6.x on PowerPC did three things.  It slowed down Word significantly, bloated up the code significantly (without significant added-value) and added significant bugs.  Is that significant enough for you?  BTW, this is SOP for MS.
