LOL! You must be on serious medication!:) Tweakable Apples? Apples that people can actually open the case?

Apple doesn't even see fit to provide 3.5 floppy access and all at a cost 3 times as much as a comparable PC!

Hohoho!

Oh bTW did I mention thaqt A LONG time ago, before LOTS of Current Apple Folk were touting the ...ummm debatable attributes of Apple machines, I used a Radio Shack CoCo to run programs and access the Pre-Internet? Like Apple it used a 68x processor with an external clock.

If you wanted to go to the trouble of learning machine language it was a pretty cool box.

Still wouldn't measure up to a PC though...

Apple machines have been user upgradeable for years. Processors, drives, memory, PCI cards. Where have you been?

I haven't used a 3.5 inch floppy in years and I'm happy not to have to pay for a drive that supports them....

3 times as much as a comparable PC...... Not a chance! (of course, no one's ever going to agree on comparable)

They would still be making coco's (imho) if Radio Shack had put a little more time and effort into it. Maybe develop a hard drive for it. I think they had a darn good idea combining the cartridge games with a good conputer interface. Again (imho), something nintendo ought to look into. I hear that are still devoted coco people out there.

You have revealed that you have absolutely no clue what you are talking about. Every Mac tower, starting with the Blue and White (circa 1999) has a hinged door that allows the user to drop the entire side of the tower down for complete access to the guts. No screwdriver needed. Apple designed this because they know their users like to tinker. I open my case more often than I raise the hood of my car.

Apple doesn't even see fit to provide 3.5 floppy access...

I can't remember the last time I used a 3.5 inch floppy, and I can't imagine why I would ever need one now. They are so 3 years ago. Again you are revealing that you are not in touch with current computing technology.

I've opened the case of every mac I've owned since 1985.

My G4 is designed open easily, is a work of art on the inside, is built for expansion, and ----- IT RULES!!!!!!
