How in the world did that man down in FL ingest enough of it to die from inhalation anthrax then?

He didn't "ingest" anything. He inhaled it if he died from inhalation anthrax. You habe to inhale 10,000 or so spores. These are pretty small spores so 10,000 should not be too hard, I would guess. But I am no expert.
