It makes me think you may be right.
I cannot address the rationale that was used by those sick individuals to justify an immoral and irrational act.
But what might be interesting .... remember that Japanese cartoon fiasco with the flashing lights that caused epileptic fits in people? Well, we know TrashBin Laden is using a computer ... and the Soviets supposedly developed a little something we could use:

If this exists, why doesn't the CIA/NSA hire (or conscript or forceably draft) some of those really annoying hackers, and somehow get this little virus onto TrashBin Laden's computer?
