The Neverending Story
An ongoing debate on Scripture, Tradition, History and Interpretation.
Statesmen may plan and speculate for liberty, but it is religion and morality alone which can establish the principles upon which freedom can securely stand. The only foundation of a free constitution is pure virtue. - John Adams |

29 letter long code has been translated to read, We Will Get the Foreigner, Tom Brokaw. Something Smells. Consider the Flag Valuable . How do you say "Tom Brokaw" in Hebrew?

Most of us here, except for the hapless Cowboy and Viking fans, should be happy today. What do Osama Bin Laden and the Vikings have in common?
They should both be done by Thanksgiving.

Next year in Jerusalem, eastsider. :o)

The pesky little problem with these Bible codes is that they never ever come up with something before the fact. Not once. Never happened. Never will. You can always read back into things and call it prophecy. But it ain't. And it never will be.

Faulk may be another story. The only reason I left Faulk out is that he missed 2 out of the first 8 games with a knee injury. If he can go the rest of the season without missing any more time, he'll be in the mix at the end.

How do you say "Tom Brokaw" in Hebrew? I think in Hebrew we would say ben zonah. In Yiddish, I'd go with the brief and descriptive yutz.

Reg, can I ask what brand you sampled?
Louis Rich brand. The store carried only two brands, Louis Rich and Butterball. The Louis Rich is so bad I don't dare try another.

In Yiddish, I'd go with the brief and descriptive yutz. Are "yutz" and "putz" interchangeable, or is there a subtle difference? Like Schlemeil and schlmozzle (sp?).

If you are talking about spurious so called codes reportedly "found" in other docs/books, then you evidently haven't read the most recent research at the site and a similar site--including experiment(s) with skeptics which left the skeptics dumfounded.

I would give angelo the benefit of the doubt here. There could be two possibilities. Maybe there is a really good brand of turkey bacon and he needs to tell you which one. Or maybe he's just deluding himself into thinking its "turkey." ;-)
I doubt it is a dilusion with Angelo. There is no real bacon on earth with such a bland, blah flavor as that fake I tried.

I understand that a rabbi is essentially a scholar and much more like a Protestant minister than a Catholic priest . When I talk about Jewish priests, it is always with reference to the" Levites" or cohein in the days of the temple. When you get back, would you please give your take on why sacrificial worship was consolidated in the temple in Jerusalem, so that after its destruction the blood sacrifices could not be continued. I think you said earlier that sacrifices of praise and thankingiving etc. are normally offered in a synagogue service. It seems to me that Protestants do much the same thing, although they have discarded the Catholic service of an unbloody sacrifice and seem to reject the whole idea of religious sacrifice. Thanks again for the order of service that you posted earlier. I failed to print it out, so I would appreciate it if in future you can go it again. Have a good one!
By the way. have your heard the allegation at Mustafa Kemal Atatuerk was a "secret Jew," whose family were "sabbateans" or Muslim Morannos, which is the reason he turned against Islam when he came to power?

He only who seeks the cheese shall, upon seeking it, find it. Yeah, find the cheese and consume it. (Cheddar 2:14)
