No, 25mm auto cannon is still too small.. An M119a1 105mm howitzer set for direct fire at the gates would deter gate running.. especially if they actually shoot a vehicle and leave the smoldering carcass of the car sitting next to the gate to show what an HE round can do.

We had M119s, too, but there aren't enough of them to go around. The 25mm chain gun is a good "limo buster", and you can always finish off what's left of a limo with a TOW.
