The calendar turned out to be commemorating the Egypt Air NY-to-Cairo flight that went down off Massachusetts in Oct. 1999. If you were "Michael" you might be emotionally attached to the original interpretation, and would probably be reluctant to let it go. But you aren't. :-)
Also, it's clear from the picture that the plane is heading out to sea, not crashing into NY.
Back on topic, that $10KK check was tainted. Kinda like Bill Clinton turning over book proceeds with "Y'all really ought to be grateful and return me to office in 2004." These Saudis won't even let us use their air bases. Who needs their chump change?
Wonder who the person on the right is in your lower right picture. He is not from the middle East. He seems to be the leader for this section of the demonstration though.
