When I read this story, I said those same words, "this makes no sense."
Especially since he was a roommate with some REAL terrorist who are in jail in, Detroit...and I think he might be the same man who went into our county library and asked to see maps of the water system and he wanted information on how infectious diseases are spread from animals to people.
The article about the RESEARCHER is HERE

Thanks for the link. I read an article recently (can't remember where) about a city in the mid west that had an Iraqi community living there and FBI investigators had evidence on a number of them relating to terrorism and wanted to make arrests. At the last minute the field agents were told to leave them alone.
I could not believe what I was reading until I realized that this happened during the Clinton Administration. If I can find it I'll post it.

OK, I would like to read it.

I think a comic-strip character said it best: "It's Clobberin' Time!" That would have been "The Thing" from the Fantastic Four

Inquiring minds want to know.

OK, I read it...now I have more questions...and I don't feel safe - at all. What the heck is going on?

The times, they are a changin.
It's not all bad. We were living in a kind of apathy before Sept. 11th. An apathy that was the result of eight years of disgusting politics.
Now, it appears that we are beginning to awaken to realities that offer opportunities to develop and sharpen ourselves, as individuals as well as a nation. This truley is a defining moment in our history. There is a certain sense of excitement and anticipation amidst the fear and stress.

Probably got the same response from the INS

At first, being only half awake and half blind, I thought your post said, "The times they are chagrin."
Now that I could agree with. ;-)
To: HoustonKevin
Probably got the same response from the INS He came to Ohio to work at an Amish chicken farm processing factory...and use our county library to find out how to spread animal born-disease.
So, why would the INS and FBI be concerned? No problem here.
To: Alas Babylon!
"You know, if I'm in a restaurant, or any public place, and I see one of these types spouting off like this, I'm gonna deck 'em. No 911 call will be needed except to pull me off their bleeding, dazed carcass." That's right. I'd be the one in jail.

Call the Cleveland FBI Office!
Demand that the man be removed!
Tell them you will go on local and then national news and name names!
Call your Congreesman and tell him you expect him to call the FBI also!
After all that,if you're not in jail, get back to us!

What? Why wouldn't the FBI be interested in this guy?No FBI careers were harmed, what's the problem?

No FBI careers were harmed, what's the problem? Oh course! What was I thinking?
To: vedicstar
I am beginning to think the FBI is a subversive agency, and no longer to be trusted. You know, stories like this, make you wonder.
