Although I already have a rifle, I'd like to get a pistol and CCW, and now is as good a time as any, I suppose. I just need to figure out what is the right weapon for me. I've been through the "which weapon to get threads," and it seems that the best weapon is highly dependent on individual preference.
The lies in that editorial make me more determined than ever to start picking one out ASAP.
Some people who teach CCW courses cover weapon selection and/or have weapons at the course for you to look at. Just because a gun looks good or shoots good doesn't mean it is right for you. Some people are made for the .45 - some are not that fortunate (grin).
