Sign onto WBAL.com -- it's local radio there.

There was a story I read on FreeRepublic this morning which may be apocryphal but seems appropriate here.
A woman offers some pocket change to mediterranean-looking man who is fumbling with his pockets next to his parking meter. He thanks her and she says nothing. As she walks away he adds, 'Stay away from Baltimore tomorrow,' where tomorrow would be Saturday October 13.

The woman (who is in Baltimore as all of this happens) later picks his face out of the police collection of terrorist mugshots.

Just south of Baltimore here, heard the same story except it was a friend of the aunt of my friend, at Giant, and they gave them some change.
Haven't heard anything else except heightened security because of all these anthrax reports.

I'm on west side of greater Cincy area. Just heard a very loud explosion-like noise. Anyone else from the Cincy area see of hear anything?

Saw Edgar Allan Poe and F. Scott Fitzgerald walking around...

Bumping this cuz JPJ seems to have someone in the know in his pocket.Level with us JPJ ,who are you or who do you work for,on second thought don't tell me,just keep the info coming.

Please post any info you hear, as WBAL is broadcasting baseball and the local television stations are running network shows. We're just north of Baltimore, and less than a half-dozen miles from one of the biggest stockpiles of chemical weapons in the country (gulp!).

aaargh...shouldn't even post this. But earlier (another thread), a fellow told about his wife handed some change to a mid-east guy (maybe for a phone call?), and he wanted to thank her. She declined, he thanked her profusely, "what can I do for you?" - nothing"; he mentioned, "don't be in Baltimore tomorrow".
She, obviously alert to the "threat", went to police, identified a picture.....again, I don't want to add to the already outrageous ---whatever....but, I read this earlier here.

biggest stockpiles of chemical weaponsBump to that, I know someone in charge of disposing of the old stuff. There's probably more nerve gas and agent orange in MD for a few world wars.
To: shezza
Hi Shezza,,lived in baltimore for many years, my favorite place. The police activity tonite is probably the usual coked up gangbangers shooting each other. Nothing here, move along, go to the mall, buy a car, kiss an arab.

This is too much to believe. TRUE STORY: On September 10, a young woman was in a food store in Towson MD, when a man in front of her in line was $3.00 short. She finally offered him the three bucks. He was so shocked by her kindness, that he said to her: "No one has ever been so kind to me."..A minute later he said "Since you were so good to me, I have something to tell you...."DO NOT GO DOWNTOWN TOMORROW!!!"..Now that would have been the 11th....The guy was Arabic in appearance........The woman called the FBI, and reportedly his description "matched" one of the wanted guys.
Now this, only it's moved up to the 13th!....sounds like a game of telegraph.???????
