We didn't have computers in school. Closest was calculators that could add, subtract, multiply and divide. Only the rich kids had those.

We weren't rich by any means. Dad had to take a loan to get the computer.
The school didn't have much cash either. The only reason we had newer computers in junior high was because the computer\math teacher sold computers on nights and weekends. He did a lot for that school. I worked for him at the computer store and got a decent price on the system.

Not you! I was referring to calculators being so expensive just for basic math functions back in the early 70's, they were going for around $300. Did you know that today's hand held calculators have more computing power in them than the entire first Apollo spacecraft mission that went to the moon? Amazing.
