4,500 innocent people are buried under rubble. Anthrax is being used to attack my fellow citizens. Our country is at war against the perpetrators. At what point would it become acceptable to be "extreme" and "hate" the enemy?

The operative words being "perpetrators" and "enemy." Some of the "extremists posts" that people are refering to, say such things as calling for action to drag all the "ragheads" through the streets. This is unfocused hatred. Bush, thankfully, is a little more clear-headed and able to distinguish between the perpetrators and innocent Afghan civilians.
