That is a good observation! I had eczema on my hands, and it disappeared for about 6 years after I had an awful case of the flu... it appeared right after a bad flu, too. hmmmmmm... Our bodies talk to us all of the time, but we don't know how to listen. Rush's body is telling him something through deafness - ironic.

"Our bodies talk to us all of the time, but we don't know how to listen."

At the time, I thought that I made some sort of brilliant connection that was unknown to medical science. That idea was rather quickly shot down. I wonder, though, if this idea of introducing some other ailment - the flu, pneumonia, etc - to get the body to quit attacking itself has ever been considered. If the appearance of the flu or pneumonia can halt eczema, can it stop this auto immune attack too?

Doctors, I know I'm cracy, but has this ever been studied?
