Bombing Images Have Vanished?

Has anyone else noticed that replays of video of the planes hitting the WTC towers has ceased, not just gone to a trickle, but have ceased.

Myself, I think it is important to keep a reminder of that broad-daylight, unprovoked, vividly horrid atrocity in front of this nation and the world to remind them why we are doing what we are doing militarily.

Whats the deal here? We are going out of our way (in the general national media sense) to provide all kind of apologists for Muslims and Islam to the point where you would think that THEY are the victims.

Let's put up some "stills" of the event. The news media has said they will not replay them ...

In Wisconsin , Madison folks are just not sure if it's decent and right to fly the flag , pledge allegiance or say a prayer. Shortly we will be told that it's not nice to mention the WTC , just as it is not right to mention WACO .

This in itself is a warning to Americans.
We have our own left wing terrorists and Anti-Americans among us.
Remember the day when we could say what we felt like saying, and do what we felt like doing? Before the political correctness police began to rule our lives and steal our land?
Put those flags out, pledge allegence to every one,and pray out loud.

A few years back I put up the Support Juantita site with enormous FReeper help and promotion. Is there any effort out there to create a website to purposely serve as a telegenic reminder of what happened...an image repository of sorts?

If someone can come up with a good website name...I'll donate the registration cost. Then maybe someone can step forward and manage/build the website.

Almost 7 thousand people died. 7 thousand families suffered, and their families,
and friends of those families.

How many times can you see those horrendous pictures? Until we're numb?
Until seeing them doesn't matter?

Hannity had an interview with a firechief on his radio talk show a few weeks
ago. They should replay that. How he talked about finding body parts. He
mentioned how they would have to feel around in the rubble, and when they
felt something soft, they knew it would be a part of a face, a nose or a finger;
some body part. Because that's all they were finding, he said it was like hamburger.
Like it was all hamburger. They found a fire engine and could tell that some
firemen and people tried to seek safety under it. But all the wheels were flattened
to the ground; the whole entire truck was flattened to the ground from the weight of
millions of tons of that building crushing it. It was like one big grinder, grinding
everything into hamburger with all the fragmented cement and steel. No furniture,
nothing could survive that power.

TV isn't needed. Those pictures are emblazoned in my mind, as they are in all our minds.

I don't think I'll ever forget those scenes, or the cause.

About 5,000 dead but there were actually comparatively few maimed.
If you were in the WTC buildings you were either the quick or the dead, and if you
were on a floor above where the planes hit there was no way of getting out "merely" maimed.

This paucity of the maimed was demonstrated by the local hospitals who were all geared up for
many patients but got mostly eye injured rescue workers.

The City reported that as of yesterday, 380 bodies have been recovered from the World Trade Center (WTC). The number of injured is 8,786 and 4,986 persons are registered as missing.

Yes, I too noticed that just a few days after the attacks the film was no longer shown on the networks, replaced by human interest stories of Arab-Americans afraid to venture out, etc.

Fortunately, if you look around the net the mpegs or avi's are out there (for example, try Limewire.) People need to see those images daily.

Tonite on NBC they had the story of 3 individuals working in the WTC. 2 of them made it, the 3rd, a young father of 2 daughters, didn't.

My wife was sobbing and the anger was again bubbling inside. There is no way we will forget this. Even NBC.

I think that the networks probably overdid it with the replays of the WTC during the first few days, but then they went to the opposite extreme of hardly showing them at all. Hard to understand, because when the Challenger exploded, we kept seeing the same video clip of the explosion each and every time there was a news story about the investigation for many months thereafter.
