NY is a national disaster area, and one that will take years to completely heal. One month will never be enough to effectively transpose a complete leadership administration under such stressful times.
The WTC disaster site is not a national disaster area. It is a recovery site of a huge wreck and is located entirely within the union state of New York. That state will have a newly elected mayor, and will continue to have its governor. A volunteer army is already in place, and there's more where that came from.
If Rudy volunteers his time and efforts, great, but it'll be under the auspices of a new mayor -- as it should be.
As it has always been. What else is new??? Lets not forget that Rudy is a liberal, and is not indispensible. I'm not a fan of term limits personally, but I would not support Rudy in an attempt to circumvert them either.
