Possible Anthrax Case Being Investigated- Austin, TX

Just heard on KLBJ 590 a.m. in Austin that an undisclosed location is being investigated for an Anthrax case.

Anybody else hear this or have any more information?

Take this for what it's worth. I don't have first hand knowledge but have spoken on the phone today to an affected individual. A medical office building was sealed off and quarentined today in Austin, because (according to the person with whom I spoke) an envelope was received in an adjacent office building. The building was locked down for a period of an hour, and security personel showed up. The building was subsequently reopened and business was resumed. Initially people were not allowed to leave, but later they were as long as they left addresses and phone numbers. Please know that this is not first hand info, but second hand info, but my source was right there in the building and is not the type to make anything up. I think the adjacent building also had the same procedure followed but of that I am not sure. For what it's worth...

It is at the Keye television station. I am next door and everyone has left their building so I asked what was going on and they said that someone recieved a suspicious package with a powder type substance.

Unfortunately a lot of folks will take advantage of the Florida anthrax presence to perform cruel hoaxes on others. Sad but true. However, since there has been a confirmed case(s) we have to take all threats seriously. I don't call that panic necessarily.
