Another moral equivalancy advocate. What a bogus position. I answer: " Whatever may be the moral ambiguities of the so called democratic nations and however serious may be their failure to conform perfectly to their democratic ideals, it is sheer moral perversity to equate the inconsistencies of a democratic civilization with the brutalities which modern tyrannical states practice." This prophetic quote comes from the Theologian Reinhold Niebuhr. Oh, and he said it in 1940. Too bad the democracies of the time didn't listen to him. Think how different history would have been had Nazi Germany been taken on in 1940. We can hope that we do not repeat the mistake this time, we have to stop the terorists, those that support them, and those that harbor them.
