The real bin Laden

I just finished a book I consider a must-read for every American who wants to understand our common enemy in this terror war.
After reading Yossef Bodansky's "Bin Laden: The Man Who Declared War on America," I fear our leaders may be seriously underestimating the capabilities of this terrorist leader.
Read it and you will no longer have any doubts that this war has been waged against us for a long time. Only on Sept. 11 did most Americans wake up to the threat that has been looming for years. This has been, until now, a totally one-sided war.
What do I mean?
I mean I am now 100 percent convinced that bin Laden operatives were behind the downing of TWA Flight 800 and the Oklahoma City federal building bombing, as well as with the terrorist acts U.S. officials have previously charged him – the bombing of the USS Cole, the Khobar Towers bombing and the bombings of the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania.
Osama bin Laden is one capable terrorist. But he is much more than that.
Bin Laden has worked throughout his terrorist career with many state sponsors – including, but not limited to, Iran, Iraq, Sudan, Pakistan and Afghanistan. So cunning is this mastermind of terror that he successfully bridged the ideological and religious gap between Sunnis and Shiites, he successfully brought together in partnership Iran and Iraq despite their bloody differences that resulted in a war that killed more than 1 million people, and he successfully has won the hearts and minds of millions of radical Muslims worldwide.
The worst mistake we could make is to underestimate him and the vastness of his terrorist cabal, which includes many of our so-called allies in this war.
Bodansky reported in this prophetic book, first published in 1999 and republished quickly following the Sept. 11 attacks, bin Laden's goals of destroying U.S. airliners and other strategic and civilian targets. His No. 1 enemy is the United States. How U.S. intelligence agencies could have missed this threat is hard to understand. All they had to do was read Bodansky's book to have a complete understanding of what makes him tick and how he operates.
This is going to be a tougher fight than the West faced with communism. Mutually assured destruction will not work as a deterrent. They will stop only when their ultimate goal is achieved or they are all dead.
What is their ultimate goal? World domination by the kind of Islamic radicalism we see in the Taliban Afghan regime or in Sudan or in Iran.
"We believe that God used our holy war in Afghanistan to destroy the Russian army and the Soviet Union … and now we ask God to use us one more time to do the same to America, to make it a shadow of itself," bin Laden told an interviewer in 1977.
They have been working on this plan diligently for years. Beginning in the mid-1990s, bin Laden's operatives and closest allies began establishing a terrorist infrastructure right here in the United States.
Right under our noses, Ayman al-Zawahiri, bin Laden's right-hand man, established residency in California, setting up terrorist networks, making key contacts and laundering funds to be used in this war against us.
Let's assume there are, as Muslims claim, some 7 million Islamic followers in the U.S. Is it inconceivable that 10 percent of them are sympathetic to bin Laden's goals? That's an army of 700,000. But maybe that's too many. Let's suppose it's only 1 percent. That's a fifth column of 70,000. But let's be really, really conservative and say it's only .1 percent. That's 7,000 potential operatives living right here in the USA.
No wonder there are those in government who admit the chances of further dramatic terrorist attacks on the U.S. are 100 percent.
While I hope and pray the attacks on Afghanistan inflicted heavy, irreparable damage to bin Laden's death machine in Afghanistan, I fear this war is just beginning. I fear America is woefully unprepared for what's coming. And I pray that our leaders and the citizens of the United States will read this book and begin to understand the danger this foe presents to our civilization and way of life
I like Farah and generally trust him but who is Bodansky and why should US intelligence have given him any credence? I don't ask this question flippantly...I really don't know who he is and what his credentials are. Can someone fill me in?

From straight up underneath the plane. A very odd place for any shoulder fired missile to be launched. It requires being directly under the flight path, and anticipating when the plane will be at an optimum point straight above so that the missile can reach the target. And it potentially places the shooter under the falling debris field.
But that's moot. Eyewitnesses described that whatever (ordnance?) they saw was traveling across the sky as well as up, and even rough estimates of the distance put it beyond the capabililties of a shoulder fired weapon.
It could be as simple as a prodigal son returning home to claim his throne as the rightful heir (sic) to the throne.
I mean sometimes you've got to get your hands dirty in a third world country to prove you can lead. And 9-11 was a moment. Wasn't it?
It has nothing to do with numerics or occult meanings.
September 11, 1922 was the day the British authorities were sworn in accordance with the Palestine Mandate of the League of Nations in 1922.
That's the 80 years bin Laden was talking about.
To understand how old this war really is, one must know the origins of conflict between Christianity and Islam. The Russian Orthodox churches in Eastern Europe are often seen with an Orthodox cross at the top, set into an upturned half moon. This is I believe symbolic of the victory of Christianity over (slavery to) Islamic forces in greater Russia and other slavic nations.
Armenia and Georgia asked Empress Catherine the Great to send troops to their protection from the Islamic Chechens who were raiding their villiages and causing great havoc - plus selling their children to the Turks.

Nebuchadnezzar's Dream was also directed at the prince of Persia
1. A "Watcher" comes to cut the tree down. Gabriel and Michael are "Watchers."
2. The prince of Persia withstands a messenger for 21 days, why? Daniel 10
3. In Daniel 10:20 the messenger says he's going back to fight the prince of Persia and then the prince of Greece will come.
4. The prince of Persia gets cut down and thrown into the pit, but he returns.
In Revelation 11:7 a beast comes up out of the pit.

7 But the angel said to me, "Why did you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns. 8 The beast that you saw was, [Daniel's time] and is not, [John's time] and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition. And those who dwell on the earth will marvel, whose names are not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. 9 "Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits.

Some Rules Used to Find Remez
Remez is a method of textual interpretation long used by Jewish students. The student's mind is set in the mode of "search". He needs to look for "…a hint, a symbol, or something hidden" in a specific word or passage, that is connective in types. Does a word or phrase really have a second meaning different from it's literal meaning? The following rules are some that the reader will draw on as he searches and finds remez:
1. Look to Israel as the signs and symbols. Yeshayah (Isaiah) 8:18; Devarim (Deuteronomy) 28:46. Such functions as history, holy days, Temple construction, objects, and the like.
2. Look for a redeemer (Messiah) as well as anti-Messiah types.
3. Examine numbers as symbols to convey more information.
4. Examine words used as metaphors, e.g., bread as Bread of Life, water as Living Water.
5. Determine the Hebrew meaning of people's names, place names, tribes, etc. These are usually proper nouns, commonly found in Gesenius Hebrew-Chaldee Lexicon to the OT.
6. Note the role of the good women (faithful) vs. the bad women (unfaithful – harlot, prostitute, or whore).
7. Look for the allegorical story contained in the TaNaK to those found in the Apostolic Writings.
8. Look for an adversary in the stories.
9. Closely examine the true definition of words in Scripture, especially figures of speech.
10. Note that the stories are types of "… what has been before, will be again" Kohelet (Ecclesiastes) 1:9-10
11. Correct translations of Hebrew and Greek text is essential to be able to find symbols.
12. Examine short stories and parables as conveying a second coming (Kingdom) message.
May I go one further?Every citizen that is a Muslim should have a complete backround check..we have turned citizens over that were Nazis 60 years ago..the difference is they were white..so Political Correctness was a not an issue we could do the right thing
We need checks on every single Muslim that lives in this country..citizen or not..if there are ties to terrorism,out they go!
