We may be dead right about immigration, but our Neocon Betters will still call us racist nativist neonazi xenophobes. Maybe they can make an acronym out of that somehow, brevity being the soul of wit and all.

"Will you listen to us now?" I doubt if they will listen to us. Our reps will get up and make a few strong statements and then it will all end up on the back burner. Business as usual.

Is that true in California (where I plan to move in two to three years) or is that just the usual pap of the liberal media? The press's reaction the the passage of prop 187 is the perfect example of the 'lie repeated often enough becoming the truth'.
They spun 187 to death in the years following it's passage, and claimed every setback suffered by anyone remotely associated with it as the result of their support of it.
All lies, but it sure got the desired effect. The state GOP is so shell shocked they have ceased to be an significant force in CA politics.

"President Fox asked us to trust him." "Mexico ranked next to last in terms of countries supporting the United States after the attack." Tancredo has his head on straight.
I wonder who came in last? Afghanistan?
