Oh well, they killed your civilians. You're killing theirs. It's a whole vicious circle of death and violence.

We aren't trying to kill theirs. We asked, "give us Osama and his associates" which anyone would ask in a situation in which a murderer was being sheltered by a group such as the Taliban. They said "no" and now we're aiming at those who've supported the murderer, we are not aiming at the civilians.
