I have no real problem with Israel per se, just I don't think we should be supporting them the way we have been. As far as I'm concerned, I would much rather keep the $$ we send in aid to Israel here at home.
Our close relationship with Israel has cost the US far more than it is worth, and I for one would cut them loose to sink or swim on their own.
On the other hand, I have no problem with them nuking all their stated enemies to a glassy residue, either.

Be glad they didn't say that to General Washington at Valley Forge. Read up on Haym Solomon and others who with their own personal fortunes financed Washington and brought a turning point in the war. But this is one inescapable fact that can not be changed. All nations who are friends with Israel prosper. Would cutting ties to Israel be worth the abandoning the very same religious principles this nation was founded on? For if you abandon Israel you as well abandon GOD for he has not turned his back on Israel nor despite popular beliefs designated the United States as it's replacement. He blesses those who bless her and those who do not are cursed. So tell me why do you think the United States despite all it's problems it's faced has survived? It did not except for a few isolated fringe groups as a nation abandon the Jewish nation.
Good grief even our parents inn the 1950's were smart enough to realize this. If you had several Jewish merchants in a small town the whole town prospered. When they moved look out. The Bible time after time points this fact being true those who support Israel prosper. Maybe you think we have suffered for it I do not. We are the strongest world power are we not? Ask Britian who in WW2 restricted the flow of refugees into their nation. Before WW2 the sun never set on the crown. It sure does now with the giving up of it's most valueable port which was Hong Kong. Yes just in one generation the sun sets on the crown. Do you propose we risk it all just so we can save a dollar?
