Untrue. His attack on anti-Americanism was unnecessary yet brilliant.
Furthermore, he could have wimped out like the Frogs - he has the majority - but he stepped up to the plate.
I agree we need to be wary of what he does outside of handling the war, but so far, he has been steadfast in remaining close to the Americans, in spite of objections from his own party. As I say, he has flashes of brilliance, times when he does precisely the right thing.
I realise this doesn't fit in with a mindset that sees everything as either all good or all bad, but there you have it, someone who proves that they can be brilliant some of the time.
