Yes, the name on BCM's FR account is John Moran. Another fallen firefighter and hero of the tragic events of 9-11. Our hearts and prayers are with his family. May he rest in peace.

Pappy...Chief Moran has gone home to that place of eternal rest. May God bless and care for his family...

Dear Jim, I feel so bad that you have confirmed this. My prayers to the Moran family and I hope someone will get his family these threads.

"My thoughts as well. I had read last night CHIEF Negotiator's thread about trying to get back to active duty in the Marines. May they both rest in peace."
Freepers "talk the Talk" AND "walk the Walk". The next time I hear some liberal disruptor say "FReepers are a bunch of arm chair quarterbacks"...........

Freeper prayers are sent his way. May God watch over his family.

Thanks for posting that Dain.
A co-worker walked up just as I was reading it, I think the tears startled her. (watery chuckle)
We won't forget.

First Chief, now BCM. Prayers for both families, prayers for our FR family. Both these great men left mighty big boots to fill. Go with God, dear gentle men.

Well, I guess both Chiefs will be FReepin' in Heaven. Can you imagine the conversations between BCM, Chief, and Barbara Olsen. Hope they introduce themselves to my Dad up there. He could "wax eloquent" on the clintoons...
RIP to our fallen.........
