Coast Guard aircraft searched for a thrid day Wednesday for a missing State Department plane used to spray crops during the drug war in Columbia.
US Coast Guard Petty Officer Robert Swanson said no signs of the plane had been found as of late Wednesday. The single engine plane, which carried only one pilot, took off early Monday from Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands, a dependent territory of the United Kingdom located southeast of the Bahamas. It was en route to Patrick Airforce Base, on Flordia's East Coast south of Cape Canaveral.
Swanson said two Coast Guard aircraft and a cutter were searching for the Ayres S2RHG-T65 Wednesday afternoon. He said a U.S. Air Force plane was expected to join them Wednesday evening.
The search area has expanded from an area of 120 miles southeast of Freeport, Grand Bahama to the entire outer Bahamas, Swanson said.

Shep Smith on Fox just announced a 63 yr old man is in critical condition in a Palm Beach hospital with anthrax poisoning. No, I'm not joking. Check the breaking news column. Someone else besides me heard it, I'm sure.
BTW, go here to find out what Tommy Thompson isn't telling us:

Isn't that the area of the Bermuda Triangle?
To: CELTICGAEL (Celt)
Lanta is just south of Patrick Airforce base. Probably 2 hours drive south. On the flight path.

Smack in the middle of the Bermuda Triangle, isn't it?

That must be Lantana, FL...there is no town here called "Lanta". It's south of West Palm Beach....and almost due west of the Bahamas.

They must have gotten the plane to a hiding place by now.

No, although he might have flown through a piece of it. UFO's aren't going to be part of this....if there's anything here.

FOX reporting a 63 year old man in Lanta, FL with Anthrax...near death It happens...rarely, but it happens. Berton Rouche has a story in his book "The Medical Detectives" (highly reccomended) about a construction worker who came down with Anthrax and eventually died. Doctors never guessed that's what he had because it is such a rare disease in the US.
Anyway, it turns out he came in contact with some insulation made with horse-hair. The horse hair was infected. All stocks still in warehouses were destroyed but it was better to leave the insulation that was already sinatlled behind walls alone, since tearing it out would have exposed more people.
Now an admittedly rare single case (if indeed that is what this poor guy has) is being blown way out of proportion.

Tommy Thompson is on FNC now confirming this...but "no need to worry"...it happened in 1976, too. Barf.

No problem...I just happen to live in Florduh, and so I looked it up in my handy-dandy map. ;-) Was admitted to hospital on Oct 1, may have drank out of a stream in NC; blah blah blah.
It hopefully is just an isolated incident. However, will all these "coincidences" happening lately, one can't help but be paranoid.

It's hard to know if this is the first of many or just isolated incident...the only thing that made it questionable was that it was under the flight path of the missing plane. What is incubation period?
To: All
Unless hundreds or thoudsands come down with this in 24 to 48 hours, then its safe to assume this is one of those yearly isolated incidents and not a terrorist attack that got one person.
