Sharon to US: Don't turn Israel into Czechoslovakia

20:40) Sharon to US: Don't turn Israel into Czechoslovakia

Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has instructed the IDF to use whatever means necessary to defend the country, he told reporters tonight.

He made his comments after three Israelis were killed this afternoon in Afula, and a terror attack overnight in Jerusalem in which two people were injured.

He also urged the United States not to turn its back on Israel in favor of the Arab states in the way Europe ignored Czechoslovakia in 1938. The results of that move were calamitous, he said.

There is considerable concern in Jerusalem that the Bush administration is allowing terrorist states to join the war on terrorism.

I see we have a new member of the "EinSatzeGruppen Amen Choir". Who were you before you were booted off last time?

I am surprised that you are all out in force on this thread. Who gave you your marching orders? Heir Laden?

Czechoslovakia elected the Commies AFTER being abandoned by the West, and AFTER 7 years of Nazi terror. Not a smart move by them, but understandable. It was, after all, the Red Army that liberated them in 1945.

America doesn't turn its back while Sharon kills Palestinians on a daily basis? Give me a break...

Palestinians kill Israelis on a daily basis, (another fact you conveniently forgot, you do a lot of that don't you?)and they teach their children to hate and want to destroy Israel. In fact they grow up with so much hate that they are often willing to commit suicide just to kill a bunch of Jews (and now American as well). And then what happens? fools like yourself say we're "pro Israel" because we've tied their hands and asked them to be nice to the people that want to destroy them.

Macroman doesn't really fit the content of your posts You should have named yourself Osama junior. Why don't you send yourself on a suicide mission to Israel so you can have all those virgins your friends promise you.

Hey face it, you are one of those cowardly National Socialist pukes who cheered at the deaths of our own citizens in the WTC. How much support did you personally give the terrorists Heir Macroman? Did you give them money? Papers? Housing? Transportation? Besides killing the terrorists I think we need to round up all the nazis that supported the perps and shoot them too. So who were you newbie before you got booted off last time?

You apparently welcome the idea that more Americans will die through war casualties and terrorism as a result of America being targeted for its one-sided support of Israel.

You only manage to prove yourself more of a fool with each post.

As I said let's get out of there and tell the Palestinians and the Israelis we're out of it you guys handle this your own way.

Come on isn't that what you want?

Sure, that's exactly what should be done. Bravo to you for finally seeing the light.

Bravo yourself. Without us tying Israels hands they would deal with the Palestinians as they see fit, and that way they'll get their just desserts for cheering the murder of Americans. Sounds good to me. I'm glad you agree.

My neighbor was in the 8th army and in Pilsen in April of 1945. But you know that. And you damn well know who voted the communists in. And how Czechs were more than happy to make arms for the Nazis. As they were for the NV.

Who really cares about your beloved Pallies anymore? 800,000 Jews were evicted penniless from Arab nations post 1948. All I see is a population exchange.

Even today, 43% of Israelis are these very same Jews who were thrown out of Arab nations such as Iraq Syria Morrocco etc.

Let me help you with some of this, or at least one thing. Do you know what totally marginalizes you as a wholly non creditable and unpersuasive advocate? Yep, you guessed it. Your posts are SO one-sided, spinnin a tale of the evil Satan on one side, and the children of God on the other, that it is almost comic book stuff.

Now remind me again why the Palistinian Authority rejected the Barak offer to give them 97% of the West Bank, and be gone, and via the US and others pump billions into the new Palistinian state? Just why did the Palistinians instead choose to continue to be "victims" of the evil Satan? What are we to make of this?

BULLSHIT.

Yep. You know how to swear. Your grasp of logic and history is impeccable.

Historically, possession of land is not conferred by some theoretical title office -- OR by your dramatic panting-and-sweating over Caliph-whatch-ma-call-it and the Ummayadda-yadda and the "so-and-so-begat-so-and-so" line of reasoning that you embrace.

History. Such a "difficult" hurdle to overcome isn't it?

I'm more practical and humanly realistic -- as are most diplomats around the world. In other words, I see "possession of land" as being conferred -- emotionally, demographically, realistically, legally, economically and jurisdictionally -- by whoever happens to be living there for X generations.

I see contrived history by you and even more contrived claims. I'm certain that both serve your "diplomatic" ends. Historical solipsism is your forte is it not?

So I find the histrionics that YOU go through trying to deny a simple, crude historical fact -- namely, that "Palestinian Arabs" did not "exist" in some primordial theoretical definition -- to be the kind of riff that only (a) propagandists (which is your case) and (b) academic bubble-blowers scrambling for tenure track usually indulge in.

You don't know exactly who these "Palestinians" are except a mish-mash of Arab Islamics, Christians, many Islamics transplanted there in the 19th century with the break up of the Ottoman Empire, Jews, etc. But again. you claimed theft of land and I stated to you the Arabs were the thieves and ethnic cleansers. Always have been and always will be.

The simple facts are (a) the native Palestinians were "there" -- on the ground in Palestine-Israel -- in practical possession of the land; (b) they were driven out as refugees in 1948 and in 1967; and (c) since 1967, they have been dispossessed and land-stripped even more explicitly by their Israeli conquerors with not the slightest shred of legality other than conquerors' priveleges, might makes right, etc.

"Simple facts" are for the simple-minded. Most were not "driven out". The majority of them left with the promise that their Arab brothers would slaughter the Jews and they could come back and take what the Jews had done. Just like they've always done. Take other peoples property. See history lesson above.

The rest of your post is evidence of why you're not fit in any sense to assess this issue. You state falsehoods. I correct them. You whine with your stinky verbal machinations. As I told you many times before. Leave history to the big boys. You, go play with your Intifada marbles.

No, it is that I think your judgement is poor. Let's assume we do as you say, and cut off support of Israel. How does that increase stability in the middle east? Do you think that as Israel gets more and more vulnerable that the Arab states will get more and more pacifist? I think they will become more belligerant, and will therefor cause the instability you profess to fear. That is clearly not in our interest as far as oil is concerned, especially since if Israel loses a conventional war and the Arabs live up to their desire to run all the inhabitants into the sea, that an unconventional response is sure to follow.

Furthermore, you appear to believe that the terrorism we have faced recently has to do with our support of Israel, when that far from being accepted as truth and there is very little evidence of it. Bin Laden targeted us because 1) we support the Saudi regime he hates and 2) our troops are on "holy soil" of Saudi Arabia and 3) we bombed Iraq incessantly during the Clinton years.

I don't appreciate your assertions and characterizations, especially since you are obviously not even thinking clearly to begin with. My #1 concern is American interest, and that is why I state without hesitation that support of Israel is vital. By supporting Israel, we prevent the Arabs from escalating and causing instability in the region that will harm our oil interests. Your response is a chicken-sh!t solution that will only create more problems for us down the road, but I think you are blinded by some kind of complex to see that.
