Thank you!! Angelo seems to operate best by talking out of both sides of his mouth! Notice how he scampered off when confronted with his lack of evidence and non-existent writing skills? LOL!! Poor angelo. There are many "wannabe" writers out there who just don't have what it takes. Given his obsessive interest in the craft of writing, I would venture a guess that he is in that category. One can study writing until the cows come home, but if it is not an inborn skill, then the best one can hope for is a cheap imitation of writing talent. I've seen it oh-so-many times. In fact, I have had to edit their work. My first experience in the worldwide publishing business was with Thomas Nelson Publishers, here in Nashville. I was a copy editor. I had the privilege of editing pieces submitted by the clergy; most of them had wonderful content, but they needed editing and a lot of "punching up."

angelo's "personal style" seems to be, "if you can't beat 'em, make fun of 'em." How junior high of him!! ROFL! I feel sorry for the chap. Perhaps his "entrepreneurship" gives him the satisfaction he so desperately craves. I certainly hope so. ;-}

I told you I'd check back in later, didn't I? I had to leave my office and head home for dinner. My wife, who stays home with our 3 1/2 year old son and 1 year old daughter, appreciates me getting home at a regular time each day. If you have children, you understand why! After we got the kids to bed, I had a late meeting with a business associate who is in from out of state. Once I got back home, I logged on to FR. Your expected replies were my first order of business.

Given his obsessive interest in the craft of writing

Obsessive, eh? In three years on FR, this is the first occasion I have discussed writing. It is hardly a major concern of mine at this point in my life. Too busy with other things, frankly.

angelo's "personal style" seems to be, "if you can't beat 'em, make fun of 'em."

Most of the "making fun of" seems to be emanating from your keyboard, sweetie.

Perhaps his "entrepreneurship" gives him the satisfaction he so desperately craves.

My daughter is teething. What I most desperately crave is sleep. Good night.
