You are assuming that using the values of a civilised society are appropriate for dealing with people who are uncivilised. They will neither respect us for it, nor give us peace - all they understand is a show of force. Well then, they should get it, a lesson that their posterity will remember in fear and dread.

Are you telling me that we're civilized while they (Muslims, Arabs) are not? That we are in some way superior compared to them? Clash of civilizations? I really hoped it wouldn't come to this point, "good" vs "evil".
