DOZENS of tunnel entrances big enough for vehicles can be seen on hillsides.The Japanese liked such positions also. I wonder how well they'll breathe when there is no air.

While in the
Marine Corps during World War II I carried a flamethrower. I would like to put about a 10 second blast of that bugger in the mouth of one of those tunnels. I burnt out a lot of pill boxes and caves on Guam, and I know what would happen to anyone in the tunnel. This was before the advent of napalm, we used oil and gasoline. Lots of flame and smoke, caused lots of deaths of the enemy.

If you'd like to see what your house (or any other place you have an address for) looks like from a satalite photo, go to www.mapquest.com. Type in your info, it will take you to a map page. At the top, click on the tab that says aerial photo, and you'll have it.
Pretty cool. If we can do this over the internet, I can only imagine what the US military is seeing with their satalites.
