During the retaking of the Falklands Islands in 1981, the Brits used the Ghurkas to terrorize the Argentines. The Ghurkas, who are exceptional in close combat, would slip into the Argentine lines at night, kill a number of their adversaries, then slip out again undetected. In the morning, the Argentines would find more than a few of their number with their throats slit. Many began to lose the will to fight after that. And, if that weren't bad enough, the Brits used the SAS and Royal Marines aginst the Argentines as well. Small wonder the Argentines began to surrender in droves....
