Resentful west spurned Sudan's key terror files (Gobs of info offered on Terrorists) . Lots more details here about the refusal by the Clinton administration (and its Blairite buddies in Britain) to accept intelligence from the Sudan about bin Laden and his organization. The article claims it was all due to Madeleine Albright's idee fixe that the Sudan was a "terrorist" government. That was just a convenient excuse for not looking, I say.
