We attack one half of Islam, while stroking the other with assurances. What a moronic statement. They are the right and left half of the same body. This author is correct, unless we are willing to committ mayhem against the enemy, and the enemy is all of Islam, we cannot win. It is a perfect analogy, "killing the wasps but leaving the nest alone". Disagree with the author, with me, but watch and be saddened by our ineffective use of power.

I don't believe I've heard a more distorted perception in my life. You want to talk about Muslims who don't hate you-fine. Let's take India as an example. With the second largest population of Muslims in the world, I believe India qualifies. And Indian muslims aren't militants, they don't terrorise Americans. The terrorists' version of Islam is completely twisted-Islam is a humanitarian religon. And I thought America was mean to be a secular country.
